anyone running this? ill be getting my 64 system soon and curious if i should upgrade from xp pro and if there are any advantages id actually use.

I have it. It was a total b!7c# to get it running with a RAID array as the OS location... I know have a single SATA-II drive as the boot drive, and other drives in RAID, installed after Windows was all set.

It still seems early in the development, and every day use just doesn't taken advantage of it.

Drivers were hard to find and get too for some things.

Now that is all set, it is fine, but it was a battle!

I plan on doing some 32-bit versus 64-bit tests for an article soon.

I might run into same problems...Im gonna have two SATA II drives in raid0.

I had no problems setting up a Raid 0 with 2 sata drives under XP 64 pro on the Gigabyte MB - didnt' test that on the new MB. I did under Vista but that's because no drivers support that yet LOL

It's come a LONG way since I converted to XP 64. It's much more widely accepted, and drivers are being released much faster and better intervals than they were before.

Been running it here for a while. Its very fast and stable, but find drivers and utilites are a b!tch. Only 1 AV that I know for it.
