Oh now ya tell me to write something up... lol
I used a couple other fellow's guides on how to do it. I wish they'd make a simple access cover for the CPU and HSF.
Disassembly of Toshiba A105 lappy(this applies to my A105-S101 model):
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-A105/remove-motherboard-1.htm
Wire/pin mod for Celeron and Pentium M's with 400mhz FSB to 533mhz:
http://www.overclockers.com/tips1232/index.asp
Be warned, The faster 400fsb Pentium M's max out real fast. Keep in mind your multiplier and what you would have at 533fsb. An 1.8ghz P-M with 18x multi may be too much for 133/533fsb. |
