Upload Quota?

Someone please explain to me what Upload Quota in your User profile means? Not sure what i need to upload to meet my quota?
This seems like a really great sit and I would hate to be booted from it for not meeting my quota (hehe). Thank you. Wave

No, you don't have to upload anything. It's for attachments, so people don't try to use the site for online storage, or upload lot's of pictures and things like that.

The quota isn't a minimum, it is a maximum. And I don't think anyone is really close to exceeding their quota... generally 100MB!! So, you can attach files to your posts (generally images) and if you some how get out of hand the 100MB cap will catch up with you... after a few years.

A few years from now, you will forget about the 100 mb quota. Then your login one day, and find your forums totally dead, where nobody can post, because everyone went over the quota at the same time.........hehe
