anyone use this thing a tech geek buddy told me to give it a try since it kinda feels like internet explorer which i love for some dumb friggen reason.... anyrate... has anyone tried this or anything?? i'm starting to try it but some of the things seem kinda funky on it waaaaaaayyyyyy more options though than ie thats for sure...

I have been using it for a while... I first started using an IE skin a few years ago with Crazy Browser, then went to Avant Browser, and have stuck with Maxthon since I don't know when... I think there is a thread on here somewhere with all the IE skins I have tried... Laughing

It works well, once you manage ALL the options. I just really like the tabbed part.

Only issue I find is that on a rare occasion it really grabs a hold of the CPU for no apparent reason and will peg it at 100% usage. Doesn't it randomly (it seems), but can also do it with AJAX applications like www.meebo.com.

Others I work with use it now (including the IT guys) and they noticed the CPU thing too...

one thing i dont like is that the password thing built-in with it. you can view my passwords under my brothers profile which is on my system.... so that is VEEEERRRRYYYY annoying.... i gotta do something about that for sure...

Where is that? I knew Firefox was like that, but didn't know Maxthon was!
