Using a mobile phone does not increase the risk of developing the most common type of brain tumor, according to a new study. After a four-year survey, scientists at the Institute of Cancer Research in London and three British universities found no link between regular, long-term use of cell phones and glioma. -

It's always "according to a new study" but have you ever wondered if they ever just do the research without being funded or with a typical goal? I mean, I'm sure that if the tobacco companies wanted to, and they probably have, they could fund a study that would prove how smoking reduces your risk of AIDS. I am very circumspect about all of these studies. Be sure to read between the lines.

Yup one four year review of one tumor type is a start but doesn't deal with some other findings as to possible genetic damage or the known fact that persistant exposure to microwave radiation, even at low levels causes cataracts and other sensitive tissue damage.
Cancers, except in the case of extreme exposure, tend to be the result of long term exposures to low levels of chemical or radiation.
It may not be a high risk, but it would really suck, to find out 20-30 years from now that the "patient overreporting" they discount so heavily in this study was correct, and the odds of death by cellphone are much worse than expected Mad
