voip, i am ready for this one, sounds like it will work out for all of us. One thing that the FCC does not have a hand in yet. But i know they are thinking about regulations for voip.

I am beta testing the AT&T internet phone as soon as it gets here, and have wanted something like that either from them Vonage, or Cablevision... Winds up cheaper than my regular phone, and has all the features (plus the beta test is free for 3 months)... |

i also heard that in some cities, you will be able to transfer your cell number to any company. that way when the prices get better you can transfer at any time.

I torched my cell phone; I don't need to be instantly available all the time. My LL is fine for me.... _________________

My family is currently doing this now.. Have been for about a couple months.. Since everyone uses there cellphones no real need to have a house phone.. It works pretty good, I really never noticed that we ever stopped using it. Except for the occasional annoying call from telemarketers. _________________
