Back before mp3s there where some crazy people who traded uncompressed wavs on 14.4K modems. So I was original and picked wavsman. Getting tired of that I abbreviated my self to wsm. wavsman goes back to my aol days. *shutters* mid 90s maybe

acruxksa
acrux (as in a star in the southern cross)
ksa (as in my initials)

Acrux was taken back in the mid 90's so I've been acruxksa ever since. Don't see any reason to change.

Around '94, I spent a lot of time in MUD's and MOO's just hanging out as Tepmurt (Trumpet backwards...as I played the trumpet at that time). At one point, about the time I quit playing in the band, I decided it was a pretty stupid name and decided to name myself after the school I was attending: Louisiana Tech University. LaTech was born and has stuck ever since.

My original Hancle Was Jon Doe when I started on interner in 1995, I was in second grade. I didnt know what to name myself and seen on the news night before a missing person they called jon doe. Yes jon doe was his real name. It turned out to be ironic. He was a unidentified corpse. So naturaly the name they used was jon doe. He was latter identified as John Doe. Only one letter diference. I thought it was funny.

Then in later years of EL. school I met a engineer who was amazed at how well versed in computers I was. He then kinda took me under his wing and started teaching my basic programing and stuff. He was a neighbor. However his handle was THe_Finger. So I then adopted 2th3fing3r. 2 being because I was his aprentice in a way. and the using three's because of the whole leet thing at the time.

Then in 7th grade I started alternate id's for integrating in comunites. I did not want my 2th3fing3r id to be know in certin comunities. Which I still carry to this day. It was the begining of my social engineering career and did not even know it.

Then I latter abandon 2th3fing3r for my name. jake_johnson. I have no reason to hide who I am.

Well it was way, way back in February of 2005 when i built a new computer. I saw the word Asylum on a poster somewhere and it kind of just stuck. Originally I stuck a 939 at the end (to go along with the new 939 computer i just built) but, I forgot to add it when I signed up as a member here. Rolling Eyes

Ice-Nine was a manmade material that increased the freezing point of water. If you were to make contact between the Ice-Nine and a glass of water, it would be frozen even at room temperature.

This is, of course, taken from one of the best books of all time: Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle.

And yes, I like books.
