How did you pick your screen name?

Thanks man... I haven't had a chance to work on your thermal images at ForumOC because of the excitement of getting a job, and cranking out a few little reviews, but its your call as to where it goes...

Pretty self-explanatory really... Jim is my first name and than Bowy I kinda ripped off from David Bowie. I just decided I'd change the spelling of his name.... Cool

I got Hellfire way back in the mid-80's by an Italian hacking group. I was always the first to jump up and cause trouble, and I'm a Pyromaniac. So somebody called me a hellraiser one day, and another called me Hellfire. Just stuck after that.

early '90s, a female friend of mine and I were sitting around trying to figure out a perminate username for each of us when we figured the internet was gonna be around for awhile. I drew a blank for myself, so she suggested "knight" because of of what she perceived of my personal attributes. Well, "knight" was taken just about everywhere so we added the last 4 digits of my office phone number to the end.

I've been "knight0334" since at least '92 or so. Yahoo has me registered as knight0334 since 10/97.

I used to go by some other name back in the days of the internet before we know it now, back in USENET newsgroups days. ...been a long time since, cant remember the old username.

I have a couple alter-ego usernames for when I try to stay anonymous.
