Checked out Microsoft for some pics, and these are some nice looking equipment. Not sure if it would replace my Logitech MX1000 Laser mouse though...

I just picked up a Microsoft Natural keyboard 4000. Its pretty awesome- ergonomic and at a downward angle so I don't have to kill my wrists all day long...

I bought the Wireless Elite for Bluetooth before I came back to work and it's pretty sweet. Couldn't get it working in Linux though, so that's kind of a bummer, but I'm sure that will change eventually. Range is awesome and the usb bluetooth tranciever that comes with it recognizes my cellphone no problem, so I don't have to fire up my laptop to sync my cellphone anymore. Mouse is OK, but seems a little "stiff". I haven't really tweaked any settings yet so it could just need some fine tuning. All in all, the bluetooth setup is pretty nice, can't wait to get Windows MCE to really give it a workout.

I have a microsoft intellimouse explorer 4.0 that i use with my test systems, just b/c is lying around in my basement but I can't use it all the time b/v it just will not work with Linux.

My logitech mice (usb or otherwise) work fine, but the MS stuff will just not work. Its really crazy. Like conspiracy theory crazy...

Having used neither I still think I would prefer the Logitech G7 and G15

I have games with lower RAM requirements than your keyboard Laughing

I'd probably prefer the logitech keyboard, but I have had good luck with Microsoft mouses in the past, and wouldn't be hesitant to try one again if needed.

Biggest issue I have between MS hardware and Logitech, is the battery usage.

My MS "normal" wireless keyboard is only in use about 1/4 the time as my main Logitech "natural" wireless keybaord. But I have to change the battery in the MS keyboard at least every other month, where the Logitech keyboard goes about every 6 months...

Found the same thing with mice as well. When I used the MS wireless Intellimouse the batteries wouldn't last long and so I constantly had to change them about every other week or more.

Thats why I like the G7, it comes with two battery packs, keep one in the charger and swap them out in seconds when you need to.
