Yes, I have a comp here on the bench at work that run Win95. I feel as though I'm in the National Archives or something here sometimes. Anyway, when the PC boots it give me the following: "Type the name of the command interpeter."
I am thinking that the BIOS cannot find the files that it needs to boot to windows. Is this correct? And if so, what can I do about it? Any suggestions or solutions would be a great help. Thanks all!

It's looking for command.com, I think.
Are you sure you didn't lose the HDD? I've only had that happen when I've lost (due to bad sectors, etc) parts of my HD. Boot with a 98 boot disk and then run scandisk on C: to see if there are any bad sectors.
Is it FAT16 or 32? I would say fdisk /mbr, but then you may not be able to boot at all... _________________ " I reject your reality and substitute my own!" - Adam Savage - Mythbusters
See that's what I want to try and avoid. I might try and copy command.com and see if that works. I am going to run a quick antivirus scan when I get a chance and see what that brings up.

Well, copying Command.com might not work...it's stored in the Win folder, and if it's missing, you can bet other things might be also.
Just copy ghost the disk to something else before you try to fix anything...just in case. _________________ " I reject your reality and substitute my own!" - Adam Savage - Mythbusters
I just did an Antivirus scan with Symantec Antivirus and it cam up zippo. I am going to run a hard drive diagnostic on it just for $h!ts and giggles and see if the hard drive is getting ready to take a dump. Would a reinstall of Windows work if the hard disk is kosher?

maybe. Would I want to chance it? Hell no.
If it hosed itself once, theres something wrong and it'll do it again. _________________ " I reject your reality and substitute my own!" - Adam Savage - Mythbusters
