Glad your OK Vulcan. And VERY glad to hear that those bomb's didn't go off. One thing about the British police, they are very good (normally better than here in the US), and very effective at tracking these dirt bags down.

I don't believe that they have all the internal politics and machonism that we have to deal with. Witch really REALLY hinders or LE.

If you read much about 9/11 you will find we did in fact have most (if not all) the pieces of info needed to stop that attack. But different agencies and even different branches with in the same agency did not share the info with each other.

And it will continue to be us reacting to them.
With all the establish infastructure and patterns of democratic society we make easy targets.
In Iraq we are starting to see the backlash againist their terror tactics of targeting the innocent, if we strike againist anyone other than the terrorists, we only feed their support. over time everyone will hate them enough that destroying them will become the priority for everyone (even their "friends" and relitives.)
In the mean time many may perish, it is the true cost of freedom.
