Just wanted to know if anyone knew anything about the Linspire OS. I know it used to be called Lindows I think until Micro$oft sued them. I was wondering what the pros and cons of it were. Was thinking about slapping some money down for it a few weeks from now and wanted to make an informed decision. Thanks all!

Personally, I would never use it. I looked at it a little, and thought it was a joke. Either go Windows or get a real Linux.

I've got it, installed it, then 15 minutes later replaced it with mandrake 10.

Lindows is not "free", they're just free to start with then try to eat your money by adding every application. There are other absolutely free Linux...

If your still intrested in trying this, you can get it for free. Just apply cupon code "LycorisWelcome". (between the hours of 7:30am & 1pm it seems)
