I'll take customer service and a drive that I know is reliable over fast kit I don't know. I've had far too much go wrong over the years, I'm happy now with a reasonable setup that works first time, everytime. |

personally i only get WD drives, i have yet to ever have 1 fail, i had a 40 giog that went throguh 3 personal machines, my friends, and now his little borther machine.... Its 4-5 yhears old and is still running fine, no errors....
I have 2 120s, 1 i boguht with my dell, 3 1/2 years ago, the other 1 year afetr from a friend he said it was a year old.
I just ordered 2 SATA HDs from WD and have yet to have one fail, so i recomend WD and having had 1 never fail, No need to RMA s#!7 _________________

Well both of my older maxtor drives are fubared. One died pretty good while using the Maxtor sutilities to do a burn in test. The other one has just crappy performance, trying to get it to fail too so I can RMA it as well.
here's a look at it's HD tach test.
