Where have all the RPGs gone

It seems with all the Massively Multiplayer online games there's been quite a lack of Role Playing Games out lately... WOW is still a rts game at heart, although it's getting there... Anyone know any good new ones out? Sad

I personally hate rpgs...i like fps, racing,and tony hawks pro skater 2...its the only good tony hawks.

no i cant handle to think that people waste 70 hours of their life leveling up a game charector...RPG's are slow moving, i ahve played them i just gave them up after i found FPS's.

Read books? I don't even know how to read, but RPG's are my favoriate games as well as Racing games. But PFFFFT with FPS'ers.

Well, for thinking games - Anybody heard of Majestic? Some riddle game where 7000 odd people got online to work out the storyline of the puzzles together... where can I find more of that sort of thing?

There are 2348179231412 people that spend 60% day to play games like Ultima and other online games, recently I see some forum like Warhammer, Ultima etc... there are 1000 billion people there, maybe these type of games can be more enthusiastically to play instead of "run and fire" such Doom 3, but I prefer today's FPS to play, for their technology and difficulty in the development.
