Those considering nVidia cards in the FX 5500 to FX 5700 range, or ATI cards in the 9500 to 9600 range, may be able to save a few dollars, get extra multimedia features, and/or get greater performance by opting to venture out of the mainstream. - The Review

I see XGI has two US distributors now, and all their cards are starting to show up at US based stores...

Nice! I love that the V8 256 is only $100.00!

Makes it easy to recommend to people that can't afford the $150 - $200 video cards!

I may start banging on this card for some serious performance. Watercooled, ramchips... and just started using this site...

http://www.volarigamers.com/

With a stock of utilities, BIOSes, and so on...

http://www.volarigamers.com/dload.php?action=category&id=2&sid=dedd8e2d8a8425daff6cdfe9f8f0ac80

One BIOS takes the core from 300 to 400 MHz and the DDR from 200 to 300 MHz... Now that is pretty extreme!!!!
