Solid State Drives are becoming the more cost effective upgrade to the traditional home computer. Adding a solid state drive will speed up Windows boot up time, will allow your applications to load faster and make data transfers much easier. Today we are taking a look at Kingston’s latest solid state drive, the SSDNow V300. This drive boasts sequential read and write speeds of 450MB/s, which is about 7-10 times faster than your traditional hard drive. The V300 is also Kingston’s first drive to use Toshiba’s 19nm NAND flash memory. Kingston is aiming the V300 at consumers who want to get the most for their money. thinkcomputers.org
