Dialup to a DSL service?

To all:

Is it possible to dialup from one computer to another and use like ICS to get to a DSL connection through a router? I don't really need to do this, but seems like it would work with the right software installed to answer the modem.

Comments?

yes but youd still only get 56k connection on the one dialing in

I would think the dial up would be the weakest link. You can't make a 56k modem any faster than 56k.

I wasn't really concerned with speed, 56k is 56k after all. Just wondered if I could call my house and have my machine answer the phone and ICS me to my DSL account at home. I don't even remember why I asked this, I have dialup with my DSL acct anyway.

Just wondered if it was possible.

It's called RAS (Remote Access Service) and yea it can be done.
