XP executive? How different is it from XP pro? Is it more vulnerable to hackers ect? Reason I ask, is of course the XP pro I have now well lets jsut say the person that built my computer installed it, and I do not have a reboot disk for it. I can get a copy of XP executive legally really cheap , my question is , is it safe? Any comment are appreciated!

Only difference between the Corporate edition and the normal edition of XP Pro is the Corporate edition does not have the activation stuff. Either is about as safe as any MS products can be. I am pretty surprised that your college is able to sell you a Corporate Edition copy legally tho, so make sure that is what you are getting.
