Hi,
Been doing some research lately and discovered I was on a different VPN in one part of the school and on a different VPN in another part of the school.
But that's not the problem, the problem is no matter how much searching I go through, there are still no tutorials or programs for that matter that can help me get OUT of the VPNs so that I may download the same software I use at home to enhance/secure.

If anyone knows how to get out of a VPN e-mails are appriciated! Wave

Do you mean subnet or vlan?

It doesn't make much sense that while in school you would be using a VPN.

I'm not quite sure. I know I'm trapped on a private network, because that's how this school is; cutting everyone off from the outside world.
The internet isn't much help either, I'm afraid I might have to use a manual information system...THE LIBRARY

1) You're asking us how to hack your school network. Unwise. We may know, but telling you on an open forum is like asking the FBI to knock on our doors, steal our candy, pillage our computers and, oh yeah, remove our civil liberties (Thanks, Patriot Act!).
2) Your network admin should be the one to ask these questions because it's his decision to open your access, or that segment, or fix the fault.
3) A VPN is for extranet connectivity. Example: You're at home and you want to connect to the school intranet. You load your VPN client, connect, and it works to enable your networking as though you were in the school or office, while encrypting the data between your insecure/untrusted location and your network destination.
4) Your avatar image is creepy. What the hell is that thing?
