Well not for most of us as we have to wait until Oct 22nd, however select third party hardware/software vendors will get theirs Aug 6th! So it sounds like it may be time to hit up your "hook ups" and try to get an early copy. Wave
It looks like the predictions are true, in that many of us will end up skipping Windows Vista all together and take the Windows 7 plunge. Especially with the positive hype surrounding Windows 7 at this point.

I just tried it the other night. What shocked me was the fact that I didn't need to install drivers for my X58 system.

I downloaded the RC about a week and a half ago. I just got my new hard drive. A nice little 7200 RPM 500GB seagate for my Sager 2096. I'll be installing windows 7 on the new hard drive so I don't mess up my current Vista/Ubuntu setup. I'll let y'all know how it all works out.
