Well not for most of us as we have to wait until Oct 22nd, however select third party hardware/software vendors will get theirs Aug 6th! So it sounds like it may be time to hit up your "hook ups" and try to get an early copy. 
It looks like the predictions are true, in that many of us will end up skipping Windows Vista all together and take the Windows 7 plunge. Especially with the positive hype surrounding Windows 7 at this point.
