I have a little bit of money to upgrade my rig and figured i'd get a new case first. Looking for a mid-tower case in the ~$100 range with good cooling. Power supply on the bottom, side fan, and window are also preferable.

Currently have the Thermaltake Lanfire that i've put many miles on over the years. Works well, but the video card area is a dead spot for heat. Tried a few PCI slot fans that alleviate the problem somewhat, but would like a side fan blowing directly on it. Most of the newer cases put the power supply on the bottom, which props the video card up directly in front of the side fans.

Currently looking at the Antec Nine Hundred Two and the Cooler Master Storm Scout. Also like the Cooler Master Storm Sniper but can't find that one under $150.

Anyone have other recommendations? So many cases out there, probably missed some good ones.

How about the Tempest, Bender?

Looks like a good alternative to the Antec Nine Hundred. A little cheaper and comes with the extra mountable fans, unlike the Nine Hundred. Shall add it to the list

Check out NZXT - http://www.nzxt.com/products/

I have a couple of their cases and they are all high quality! Well built, and I have yet to been cut by a sharp edge!

I would try the V9 from TT, it might be in that price range!

The storm scout looks awesome! But the other case in the mid range that I would glance at is the HAF 922. If you can stand the style, it will definitely be high contender based purely on merit.

That backside motherboard fan on the V9 is an interesting idea, but would like that side fan rather than just the vents on the other side.

Didn't know they were coming out with a HAF 922. Saw the HAF 932 and was disappointed there wasn't a mid tower version. Doesn't seem like any retailers are carrying it yet though

Look for a HAF922 review here next week... Embargo date for reviews is May 12.

This is some great news. Definitely awaiting eagerly. I just this case from the aussies and they gave it a great review as well, AZZA Fantom 900... good luck choosing (my bet is to hang around to hear about the HAF still) Grin

I wanted to buy this case also but unfortunately, this is not available here in our country. Sad
