Aside from a few issues, the Leadtek Limited WinFast GTX260 EXTREME+ is a very impressive video card. It provides strong performance in 3D games, it has the ability to handle any multimedia tasks with ease, and it is so quiet that it is well suited for use in just about any type of system. It could be the card to provide some gaming muscle to your desktop, LAN rig, or HTPC!

I finally got around to giving this card another shot in Windows Vista 64-Bit. This time on a ASUS P5K Pro motherboard and a quad core Xeon X3210. I uninstalled all drivers, shut down, installed the card, and booted up... This time letting Windows Update select the drivers for me. It went out and got ForceWare 178.13.

I have not upgraded beyond this point, but so far it works fine in 64-Bit. I still don't know what will happen if I apply the latest drivers straight from Nvidia, but at least it is functional. In the review I never let the system go look for drivers with Microsoft, since well, that isn't very cutting edge.
