Hi,
It's my first post here and I hope you can answer my question(s).
My PC system:
CPU - Intel E8500 Core 2 Duo
Motherboard - Asus P5Q3 Deluxe-WiFi-Ap @n
Graphic card - MSI 7600 GT Diamond Plus
2xSeagate hard drives, Sata, 250 GB eack
Chill Innovation power supply CP-700M 700 Watt
I've tried with one stick (2 GB) of 1600 MHz Kingston Hyper X - on Auto setting I get BSOD, only if I set DRAM frequency to 1100 MHz I can boot in Windows.
I've also tried with two sticks á 1 GB of TWIN Corsair DHX G 1333 MHz. Same story as above.
Several tweaks with increasing FSB and lowering multiplier didn't help.
I wonder if I should try Crucial BallistiX 1600 MHz 2x1 GB and try to tweak in BIOS as the guy who reviewed thismemory brand did, in order to run at 1600 MHz.
Would be very thankful for any suggestions from you in this forum.
Hi - I don't know if I would spend more money on memory just yet, as it may be something else that may be wrong. I'd think you should be able to get one of those other brands working...
