After going to numerous retailers (Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware and a few lesser knowns) I managed to find the proper battery for my riding lawn tractor at, of all places, AutoZone. It figures that it would take a special battery that the regular retailers do not carry in stock. But AZ came through and for that, I am grateful. I had 6 acres to mow for my church and having my tractor down is not good.

The customer service at our local Auto Zone is always very good. The only time I shop at their competitor is when we are buying something really big because we get a discount there. AutoZone defiantly has the best selection of batteries. That's where we get our golf cart batteries Smile

I have been going to AutoZone alot lately, too... Initially because I used to buy the basics at WalMart, and needed somewhere new. But now that I like the place, it all comes from AutoZone! Grin

The only ill regard to Autozone I have ever had was back in 1995 the price of sparkplug wires for a '85 Corvette 350 was $89, but plugs wires for any other 350 engine in any other vehicle was as low as $20. Rolling Eyes

Same engine, same distributor location, same cap, same firing order(18436572). Confused

Batteries Plus just opened here a couple months ago... They may have selection, but they never have good deals.

I laugh because the little hut they moved into used to be a pizza place, then it was a "Cluck U" wings place, and now they sell batteries. I guess all three businesses involve a good deal of acid... Grin
