goldenchessboard, Gamespot used to give scores of 0.1 increments like 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, etc. but last year they changed to 0.5 increments like 8.0, 8.5, 9.0, etc.
GTA 4 would probably not have received a perfect 10 on the old scale but they did say it is the best GTA game so far. GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas for the PS2 all received a score of 9.6. GTA 4 would have probably received a score of 9.7 or 9.8 on the old scoring system.

ah ok.. I didnt know that. They should probably have rounded down.. because the difference between 9.9 and 10.0 is actually huge. Anyway, I wish it would come out for PC.. I don't have any consoles =S I guess I'll have to go to my friends house and watch him play it for now hehe |

Huge difference? It is only 0.1 
I don't expect a PC version until next year. Rockstar Games is working on the DLC for the Xbox 360. |
