Picture viewer

This past weekend my company held its annual Awards Banquet. I took many, many pictures and would like to burn them to a CD that would auto load a slide viewer.
Anybody know of a free program that allows this??

Any ideas???????????

Acdsee, Kodak, and Powerpoint, they all have slide-show options. I'd personally recommend AcdSee.

Also, I know there are many others out there, my brain hasn't kicked into any gear yet other than sleep. When I think of them, I'll pass it along.

if you have a winxp machine available just browse the folder with all the pictures, "view" one of the pitures using the integrated viewer and along the bottom of the screen click the "slideshow" button...

Thanks.....I'll look into Powerpoint. I don't really want to go into too much work on this. I'd perfer something I can just dump the fotos into.

Powerpoint has an option to make a self-running slideshow of slides.

Then you just have to burn that to an auto-run cd and it will play when you put it into the drive.

I highly recommend ACDSee for all your picture viewing pleasures. It's one incredible program and it holds the record for quickest pic opening.

I scanned about 100 pix and made a slideshow for my grandparents 50 anniversary using my aunt's computer setup on a table. The app I used was Slideshow32 and it did the job.

Just put the pix in a directory and add the whole directory to the slide show list. Arrange how you like and start the full-screen slideshow.

Or for Linux you can just use GThumb to do it.
