Does anyone own it? And... What card do you run? And how does it play?

I was reading the actual game was smoother than the demo on cards like my 9600XT...

The demo played like crap on my 9600 Pro but I hear that the demo and the retail game play is different so I dont know. I have heard many playing ok on less powerful cards than the 9600 tho.

Your card should work fine at 640x480. Laughing

My 9700 Pro does a pretty good job, although I can't turn everything up all the way, it artifacts when I do that. Oh, I am speaking of the Demo not the actual game.

Even turned down just a touch, its total eye candy.

No good games in Linux? I dissagree! I have a tetris clone, and lets see, asteroids, oh, and another good one, a bust a move clone!

BTW, considering that Far Cry is DX9 only, I'm fully aware that its chances of being ported to Linux are slim to none...

YHBT, HAND!! Grin
