Which one do you like/use?

I normally use KDE, and I installed Gnome.... not being a happy camper.

I prefer gnome usually, but I've got a kubuntu partition on one of my work pc's that i've been playing around with lately. Neither are bad imo, just gets some getting used to switching from one to the other.

KDE all the way. KDE is so much more customizable. It seems a little rougher around the edges but really, it's sooooo much more useful. And I like the KDE tools over Gnome ones like KWrite, Klipper, KNotes, etc.

Always used Gnome...have tried KDE but didn't like it. For the Kapps I like, I just run em in Gnome.

After a few more days of playing with it.... I'm considering installing KDE. Laughing Gnome just isn't giving me the love I need. And it "feels" cartoonish.

if you need help figuring out how to do something in gnome that you normally do in KDE, throw it on here and I'll see if I can help at all.

I've never liked Gnome/GTK at all. It's too ugly and lacks the ability to customize. KDE is just better if you want a certain usability from your DE. I'd love it if the Linux community in general started moving away from GTK more quickly.

I'll give KDE another try when 4.0 comes out, the current running version hasn't been updated in ages.
