Well, I've been having these voltage issues for a while now, thought I'd see what everyone here thinks.
Here are my voltages:
The low -V's bother me some, along with the lower Vcore2 voltage in comparison to Vcore1. I was never much of a power supply whiz, only knowing how voltages affect overclocking. Should I be concerned about any of these numbers? When I boot up into Windows Vista i'll BSOD fairly quickly after startup, not doing anything over intensive on the PC when it happens. Normally Id just blame myself for the Vista being borked, but its pretty much untampered with and has been happening since I decided to partition and install it.
In XP I've had a couple random restarts lately, which may be a heating issue or a voltage issue, I'm not sure which. Also in XP I feel like I'm getting some pretty horrible framerates in games that my computer should have no problems with.
System Specs:
~500W Powersupply
AMD 4200+ X2
DFI Lanparty Series Motherboard
1GB OCZ Performance DDR RAM
NVidia 6800GT (pci-e)
My powersupply is currently running two pin converters. One is a 20-24 for the motherboard and another is a 4-8 or something similar for the PCI-e card. Some of the modular connections on the powersupply could be a bit loose but there's not much I can do about those. _________________ ABAP? What did you call me? |

Not sure on the vcore2, but -9.23v on a -12v line would concern me, although I must say, the only voltages I ever really paid attention to were +12v, +5v and +3.3v _________________
