does it matter?

Right now im running this on my ram,

4 slots

2= 256 MB = no name el cheap ram
2= 512 MB =value ram of kingston

which is 1.5GB of ram. Now which would be better or does it matter

2 sticks 2x1GB for 2 GB
4 sticks at 512MB for 2GB

I could get two more sticks of value kingston ram for 45.00 and thinking about.And just run 4 sticks at 512MB to =2GB or would that slow me down?

Are you overclocking? If so, then 2x1GB = Best. Otherwise... More = Better.

nope I'm no over clocker, so 4 sticks of 512MB be ok then?

ok, its a pretty good deal i may go and buy two of them.

and run 512,512,512,512 instead of 256,512,256,512 Smile

Im running a old (i guess its old) P4 3.20ghz, with HT,800FSB etc...
