We got her from the Chesapeake Bay Retriever rescue. We just drove to Nebraska today to pick her up. She was a stray that wondered onto a farm in Kansas and the next day had 7 puppies.

We are looking to name her, the rescue gave her a name of "Sophie" and we really don't like that. Besides, it doesn't fit in our "beer' nameing theme.

So, we're looking for suggestions. Do you like Pint, Porter, or Breck? Or another name?

Porter sounds good... But more masculine... may not really matter, though.

What is Breck? I think shampoo.

Breck is short for Breckenridge Brewery.. and no he's not wearing pants. I got pics of that too.. I'll post them in a bit.

we just got a dog today too....Its a golden retriver that was trained as a seeing eye dog for a handicap kid. they were moving to pensylvania and couldnt keep the dog there. so they just gave it to us.

His name is Butte. (might change that)

Oh and I like porter too.

Cool. Dog is a seeing eye dog, and they couldn't keep it? WTF? Isn't it kind of needed for their kid?

That's what I thought too but the kid has some severe seizures and can't even use the dog anymore. It's a sad situation, they just moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to a good hospital for the disease she has.
