Nah, ditch the one month special (the dinky fan) and grab a big passive HS.
I would personally just make a custom HS and stick it on with thermal adhesive, but check this out:

If I got one to paste on, it would be the Zalman shown at the link above... but from my boys at Jab-Tech... I know and trust them, the description specifies that it comes with thermal paste and thermal adhesive, plus they have a lower price... |

I found a solution!! Should be pretty cool (pun intended)...
But first, I did some testing... Have a thermal probe on the base of the heatsink as close to the northbridge chip as possible... Temps range from 37-45C with the fan at full speed (7000RPM)... Which doesn't impress me!
After searching several forums and not finding anything really interesting, I went to manufacturers pages, and Soyo was willing to sell me their 865PE cooler, which is a BEAST of a passive cooler!! So, for $5, plus shipping, the cooler from this board is on the way from the Soyo Shop:

Worth a shot!! Bigger than the Zalman cooler I was looking at, and has the appropriate clip. |
