Should be fine because it would jsut be like running through a 8x/8x sli config, possibly a small performance hit compared to if i used the 2 16x slots but shouldnt be too bad really and it will let me use my tv and soundcard still  . think when i get the 2 cards and new cpu cooler set up im gonna spend a day or 2 overclocking the memory and cpu and making it all stable anyways which should compensate a little .
Probably fairly bad that im looking forward to actually re doing it all :s.
