I have a (9700) in my other box. I plan on installing a ZM80C-HP, (and temp Rig) on this set-up as well. Although I don't expect the temp ranges to be that different, I am currius to see just exactly what they are.
I'll post my results when I get them.
Like you, I don't use Quick Silver epox, I may want to remove the prob if it fails. I do however use Quick Silver paste while securing in place with heat tape and tie wraps. This method works just as well I think.
