Thanks for the kind words!!! I do believe your temps may be more accurate. Although I'm not sure the difference in temps produced from a 9800 to a 9700.
Here is a shot of the same kind of mod you speak of only drilling a SLK947U. The thermocouple joint ended up being just millimeters worth of copper and AC thermal epoxy away from the center of the processor die.
I get some incredible temperature response and what I think is about the most accurate temp readings, not perfect, but the CHANGE in temps will be very accurate.
I tried to recreate all measurements the same in all tests. The actual temperatures moy be off, but the difference in them is very accurate. |
