I have the first 5" IT 250GB and recently got the 5" IT Android 500GB.
The issue I had with the IT5 was the OS, it was very unstable. So I bought the 5" IT with Android. The stock firmware sucks, and my plan was to root anyway. With the help of a forum, it was rooted. I haven't checked in awhile, but afaik, no Android 2.x for the Archos.
The thing about it is the hardware really isn't that great. The Nexus and Samsung Galaxy S have better specs. And the Galaxy S has its own GPU! |
