Yeah, Canadian government LOVES to tax things.
I have several packages that were re-assessed in value shipped from UK, they royal mail marked the value on the box, Canadian mail gets it, opens it reassesses value, charges me more in taxes.
This is the country btw that basically allows piracy as long as people pay duties and taxes for it via consumable media and storage.
I love living here as there are zero natural disasters and virtually zero crime but goddamn, the government will rape you in taxes. |
