The gas thing drives me nuts... I grew up in NY, and at least you could pump your own gas (and pick up a 6-pack right there at the pumps while you waited).
Here, some of these stations have 16 pumps or more, with one or two HIGHLY motivated people working them... You might wait 5 minutes before they even start. I used to get out and do it myself, but lately I get yelled at and basically chased back to my car...  I think it used to be appreciated that I was doing their jobs for them, but now I don't know what the deal is...  |
