I've tripped across this article through several sites and the response has all been the same......... Charlie Demerjian is a not so well disguised ATI fanboy and spends a good precentage of his time with disinformation to bash nvidia.

BTW I'm not an nvidia fanboy either......I run nvidia because the cuda drives work better for folding. YsSMN actually started with an 4870 1GB but had issues with the drivers.
