The wife and I debated this for a few minutes after the movie as we were waiting for our dinner, in the end we both agreed to suspend our disbelief because the 'reboot' makes perfect sense if fans ever expect the 'Star Trek' franchise to continue. It wasn't a particularly smart movie but it wasn't a horrible parody of itself either, I enjoyed it and so did she, but not for anything other than excuse to take in a movie, grab a nice meal and enjoy each others company. |
