I'm using Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro on my E8400, paired with Arctic Fan 9 PWM as case exhaust.
Easy to control the speed using SW from Gigabyte (my MB) or Speedfan.
Totaly Silent at 800 Case and 1200 CPU.
Can get a bit noisy in demanding games when overclocked to 4GHz. But then you probably have game sound on and won't notice anyway. |
