It's home. 
Still needs work, and I guess the shifter is fubared also. He tricked it out of park and cranked it by having my mom (who drove him there in the neighbors car) hold the switch to start and shorting the starter solenoid with a screw driver. 
Now that we have it home, we can work on it under the car port in the snow tomorrow!
