So far the beta has proved to be fun, you can even customize your character via unlocked items (or purchased). gbronzer did point out you can not swap classes easily, however since this is still the beta I will not hold it against them and hope that issues like this are resolved when the final product arrives. Overall it looks like it will end up being a fun game, no Battlefield 2142, but a fun game none the less. Here are a few images I snagged:
