Yep! Thats the ONLY answer. GO FOR IT!! If you don't know what field you really want to shoot for, than take some "lighter" courses. Like Creative righting (for your music interests) or photography. Once you get into the swing of things in the classes/talking with others you can decide where you want to go.
Hell, I'm a HS drop out! Joined the military at 17 (attained my G.E.D. there), and like a DUMB a$$ did not continue to further my edumacation. Of ALL the things I would like to do over.....formal education tops the list!!!!!!!!!
I am not a learned person, but I'm not stupid either. TOO many times I've seen others with less knowledge/experience get UNDISERVED advancements only because they have a piece of parchment to hang on a wall.
GO FOR IT ICE!!!
