The HD4770 is going for $129.00 at the store. I'm not sure if saving $30 instead of getting a HD4850 is worth it. I'm trying to get the most performance out of my money. It doesn't really annoy me if I have to wait a month to get another component as long as it'll affect my performance enough.
For gaming I would think the E5300 is enough, since games are mostly GPU. If the processor does bottleneck a bit, I can always overclock it. With a HD4870 there is no doubt I'll get top performance, but I'm not so sure about a HD4850. |
