The ram's cheap and where are those 2 secs difference? When booting?
I wouldn't get the GTX295 for two reasons:
It's overkill and way too much money to put into one (or two if so you want to say) component, it's over U$700!
In case you really wanna go with a dual video card set-up, get a HD4870x2 U$400. For a little more than the price of a GTX295 you can get a quad-GPU (2 4870x2's in Crossfire).

If you do decide to get one of those multiple-GPU cards, keep in mind your processor will most likely be a bottleneck. The guys at Tom's Hardware overclocked a Core i7 920 to 4.0Ghz and it still seems like that was limiting the video card performance. In realistic situations, however, none of this is necessary because I doubt you'll be playing Crysis on full detail, AA, AF and 2560x1600 resolution (at which point it isn't playable on any graphics solution). Both the HD4870x2 and the GTX295 managed to play other games on full detail, AA, AF and 2560x1600 with excellent FPS.
