I had a pair of HD3870 Toxic (factory overclocked) in CrossFire... And I have had a 9800 GTX+. On the same system, the CrossFire setup beat the single 9800 GTX+ by about 1700 points on the GPU score in 3DMark Vantage Performance.
So, I would say that the HD3870 CrossFire combo would dominate the single original 9800. |
