My WinXP SP3 detects only 3GB of my 2x2GB DDR2800 RAMs.

Shouldn't Vista SP1 make all 4GB visible?

Vista SP1 32 supports up to 4GB. It's showing mine in my computer properties.

Really??? Didn't know that Vista 32bit supports up to 4GB. Good to know that! Grin

Anybody else can confirm? (Not that I don't believe you, lockhead... Wink )

yes, i forgot the link from microsoft i hope i can find that one so that i can post it here. but im using 32bit right now and 4GB is showing in my computer properties.

yeah, i want to confirm that too.. want to head back to 32-bit for reason of compatibiliy.. 32-bit has wider range that 64-bit (though 64-bit is faster)

anyway, for the thread starter. before OC'ing, just make sure you have a decent cpu cooler. it's easier to point out where you went wrong in OC'ing.. when it freezes, your pretty sure it's not because your temps got way too high at initial booting..
