Thanks for the advice guys, but for the time being, I've decided to give up on it and stick with my current 4GB (2x2GB) setup.

Who knows, maybe if I'll 'have' a new HD4850X2 Memory Hog Video Card (  ), then there's a good chance I'll go and grab 4GB of addtional RAM.
