The yellow light is probably normal, telling you it doesn't have any severe issues. Without checking it probably goes red if there's a problem, and green when you turn on the machine. At least that's what my DFI board did.
You are probably right about it being a power issue. Being a low watt unit I wouldn't expect it to ever have the issue you have had from the begining, unless there was an issue. I know on some of the 1K+ Watt units they'll do that if you are under using the power supply (ie using 400W out of the avaialble 1K).
The red light, is that on the Power Supply? The units I have that have that its red until you turn it on, then it goes green. If it is not staying on, that again leads me to suspect a power supply issue first. |
